It took three extra quarters, but the Central girls basketball team was able to squeeze out a 71-69 win against host Perryville on Thursday night.
Kelly Morton finished with 19 points to lead Central (5-18), while Maddie Daum recorded 17 points, seven rebounds, six steals and four assists. Kassidy Pannier netted 11 points, and Sarah Boerboom tallied 12 rebounds and five steals.
Allison Moldenhauer led Perryville (6-14) with 18 points, eight assists and four steals, while Kylie Bilek also added 18 points and four steals. Desiree Brown notched 13 points and eight rebounds, while Ahnie Hoff scored 12 points.
