All the local high school events reported Thursday to the Southeast Missourian.

It took three extra quarters, but the Central girls basketball team was able to squeeze out a 71-69 win against host Perryville on Thursday night.

Kelly Morton finished with 19 points to lead Central (5-18), while Maddie Daum recorded 17 points, seven rebounds, six steals and four assists. Kassidy Pannier netted 11 points, and Sarah Boerboom tallied 12 rebounds and five steals.

Allison Moldenhauer led Perryville (6-14) with 18 points, eight assists and four steals, while Kylie Bilek also added 18 points and four steals. Desiree Brown notched 13 points and eight rebounds, while Ahnie Hoff scored 12 points.

Kelly's lone senior Payton Jones recorded 15 rebounds and 13 points in her last home game to lead the Hawks.

Logan Ivie tallied 14 points and eight rebounds for Kelly (17-8). The win was the sixth consecutive for the Hawks, who begin district play Saturday.

Delta's Rachel Birkman netted 10 points to pace the Bobcats (3-17).

Neelyville's Riley Washburn and Chelsea Petty both netted 10 points for the Tigers (20-5).

Scott City's Lyndsie Robert finished with a team-high 21 points for the Rams (1-21).

Woodland, seeded fifth, begins Class 3 District 2 tournament play at 1:30 p.m. Saturday at 1:30 p.m. against fourth-seeded St. Pius X (Festus) at Clearwater High School in Piedmont, Mo.

Abby Ross added 13 points for Scott County Central (14-9).

Jordan Pruitt finished with 23 points, including six 3-pointers, for Chaffee (7-13), while Lindsay Harrell tossed in 13 points for the Red Devils.

Kelby Brown added 18 points, all from behind the arc, and Andrew Puchbauer chipped in 12 points for Oak Ridge (16-9). Ryan Below tallied 10 points, 10 rebounds and six blocks for the Blue Jays.

Damion Tipler finished with a team-high 23 points for the Eagles while Seth Bays contributed 13 points for East Prairie (13-11).

Nathan Carroll poured in 20 points and recorded five steals and five assists as the Indians their third consecutive win this week with a win at home.

Trevor Leible and Kevin Mattingly chipped in 13 points apiece for St. Vincent (6-16) and Alex Winkler grabbed 14 rebounds.

For Meadow Heights (6-16), Jacob Douglas tallied a game-high 22 points, including four 3-pointers, and Justin McGuire added 16 points. Kyle Baremore added 12 points.

St. Vincent will have the opportunity for a four-win week when it travel to Hillsboro, Mo., to take on Grandview at 6 p.m. today
