The Central girls basketball team was outscored 9-1 in overtime as Sikeston defeated the Tigers 51-43 in the first round of the Hillsboro Invitational on Monday.
Central trailed 28-24 entering the fourth quarter, but the Tigers held an 18-14 scoring advantage over the final eight minutes to force overtime.
Kassidy Pannier scored 17 points for Central, while Kelly Morton added 11 points.
Tyra Bonner paced Sikeston with 10 points.
