The Cape Central boys swimming team won nine out of 11 events to win a three-team meet Tuesday at the Southeast Aquatics Center.

The Tigers finished with 147 points, followed by the Indians in second with 85 points and Crusaders in third with 12 points.

Sophomores Brogan Davis and Sam Hahs both set state-qualifying, first-place times in the 200 individual medley and 100 butterfly, respectively. Junior teammate Reagan Ragsdale also shattered a pool record in the 200 freestyle with a time of 22.99 seconds.

Jack Gard was the lone victor for Jackson in the 200 freestyle with a time of 2 minutes, 1.89 seconds.

Saxony's Ian Cameron won the 500 freestyle with a time of 5:59.70.

Sarah Bell carded a one-over-par 37 to earn the medalist honors as the Bulldogs won a three-team meet at Dalhousie Golf Club.

Ste. Genevieve's Madison DeRousse carded an eight-over-par 44 to finish second individually for the Dragons.

Macey Hall blasted a solo home run as the Pirates exploded and posted six runs in the sixth inning to get the win at home.

Madison Wengert picked up the pitching win for Perryville (8-8). She threw 3 1/3 innings and gave up no earned runs on two hits. She struck out one.

Courtney Wingerter hit a triple and batted in two runs for the Pirates, and Andrea Pannier had a double and also added two RBIs.

Sarah Handrahan went the distance in the circle and took the loss for Jefferson (14-7). She allowed eight earned runs, struck out seven and walked six.

Carleigh Burnett sustained the loss in the circle. She pitched four innings and allowed six runs (four earned) on five hits. She had one strikeout and walked six.

Sydney Walker had a double and batted in two runs for Chaffee (7-9).

Shelby Sievers was the winning pitcher and also doubled for Poplar Bluff (11-5). She threw a complete game and gave up three earned runs. She recorded two strikeouts and walked one.

Kelsi Miller smacked three doubles as the Bulldogs won their 14th consecutive game in the road romp of the Crusaders.

Standout pitcher Taylor Tiffany went the distance to clinch the win in the circle for Portageville (17-1). She gave up one earned run and recorded nine strikeouts.

Grace Mirly endured the loss. She pitched a complete game and allowed six earned runs. She struck out three and walked one.

Logan Welker hit a double and batted in the lone run to pace Saxony Lutheran (8-6).

Mallorie Maintz doubled twice and drove in two runs to pace the Indians, but the host Owls rallied in the seventh inning to come away with the win in Imperial, Missouri.

Sophie Wunderlich was tagged with the loss in the circle for Jackson (9-10). She pitched a complete game and allowed five earned runs. She recorded nine strikeouts and walked one. She also doubled and batted in two runs for the Indians.

Camryn Clark went the distance to get the pitching win for Windsor (11-3). She gave up three earned runs, struck out five and walked three.

Shaina Kmetz hit two doubles and Jessica Veselske tallied three RBIs for the Owls.

Kyle Wood had one assist and once again netted the game-winning goal in the Pirates' conference victory over the visiting Dragons.

Emilio Mattingly also scored one goal and had one assist for Perryville (12-1, 2-0 JCAA Conference). Eann Bergman had one goal, and Kwaid Fears provided an assist for the Pirates.

Goalkeeper Trent Unterreiner had eight saves.

Gage Reichmuth had the lone goal on an assist from Nick Reiser to pace DeSoto (6-4, 0-2).

Goalkeeper Billy Hinchey had seven saves to pace the Dragons.

Notre Dame 3, Carbondale (Ill.) 1

Blake Bauwens and Devin Ross each had a goal and an assist to lead the Bulldogs to victory over the host Terriers.

Wyn Roberds netted the other goal for Notre Dame (8-4-1) while Michael Rosenquist provided an assist.

Carbondale dropped to 5-5 with the loss.

The Bulldogs remained hot as they collected their sixth consecutive flawless victory in a sweep of the Bearcats at home.

Notre Dame improved to 11-2 while Dexter dropped to 6-4.

The Bulldogs will conclude their regular season Friday in a rescheduled match at Poplar Bluff.

Ahnie Hoff added seven kills, and Emma Derickson had three kills for Perryville (11-8-2). Kayla Buxton dished out 23 assists for the Pirates.

Autumn Reid recorded 14 digs, 10 kills and three aces to pace Jackson (13-6-1). Malary Burger provided 19 assists, and Kali Beussink calculated eight digs for the Indians.

Emily Seiler recorded six kills, four digs and two aces to pace the Wildcats in the loss at home to the Class 3 state-ranked Bearcats.

Ashley Nussbaum added four kills and four blocks for Leopold (9-9). Patience VanderMierden tallied 13 assists, four digs, two kills and two blocks for the Wildcats.

Krysten Garrison notched nine kills, seven assists and two blocks to lead Dexter (19-3-2). Lewis Barnes added five kills, and Julia Hahn had 13 assists and nine digs for the Bearcats.

Brianna Mueller recorded seven assists and six kills to lead the Crusaders in the victory at home over the Tigers.

Ashley Fritsche tallied five kills and five digs for Saxony Lutheran (11-7-2). Jordan Hecht contributed 10 assists and four kills, and Allie Sprink added four kills for the Crusaders. Claire Petzoldt served four aces, and Logan Franke notched 12 digs to pace the Crusaders defensively.

Cape Central fell to 2-11-2 with the loss.

Jessie Long served six aces and nailed six kills to pace the Eagles in the three-set conference loss to the visiting Bulldogs.

Emily Jackson recorded seven kills and five aces, and Noel Friedrich tallied seven kills and three aces for Eagle Ridge (7-3). Callie Hefner dished out 23 assists and served seven aces, and Aubree Westerfield added five aces for the Eagles.
