Senior Al Young finished with a double-double with a game-high 27 points and 10 rebounds as the Cape Central boys basketball team remained hot and upped their winning streak to 10 games with a 77-62 win on the road over Class 4 District 1 contender Perryville on Tuesday.

Blake Harris also had a double-double with 17 points and 10 rebounds for Central (13-4), which held a narrow two-point lead at halftime before a strong third-quarter performance. Zyshon Mallory added 17 points for the Tigers.

Nathan Noland sank 21 points and McGwire Bartley contributed 13 points to pace Perryville (12-4).

Dawson Dohogne tallied 17 points to pace the Bulldogs in the loss to the Class 3 state-ranked Rebels on the road in Park Hills.

Blake Bauwens recorded 11 points and dished out five assists for Notre Dame (8-10). The Bulldogs led by two points at halftime before the Rebels rebounded in the second half and proceeded to outscore the Bulldogs by 18 points to get the win. Winston Welter added 11 points, and Carson Ketcher snagged 10 rebounds for the Bulldogs.

Brandon Wagner busted a game-high 22 points and Jake Bridges netted 21 points to lead Park Hills (15-1) while Tyler Stewart chipped in 12 points for the Rebels.

Ashlyn McIntosh tallied 13 points and eight rebounds for Oran (15-3, 3-0 Scott-Mississippi Conference). The Eagles trailed 26-14 at halftime before a second-half rally ensued as the hosts finished strong and outscored the Red Devils by 17 points to clinch the win.

Senior Julia Sutterfield notched a double-double with 17 points and 13 rebounds and dished out five assists to pace Chaffee (8-9, 3-2). Katie Glueck contributed 12 points for the Red Devils.

The Bulldogs won six events in the tri-meet and pulled out the win over the crosstown rival Tigers and visiting Knights at Central Municipal Pool.

Madison Heisserer led the way for Notre Dame, winning two individual events -- the 200 freestyle (2:07.34) and 100 backstroke (1:03.80) -- and swam on two victorious relay squads in the 200 medley relay and 200 free relay.

Allie Pujol, Caroline Schott and Angelica Rubi joined her on the 200 medley relay while Susan Anderson, Rubi and Schott took the 200 freestyle team race.

Schott (100 free), Pujol (100 breast) and Gracie Kern (100 butterfly) also added individual race wins for Notre Dame.

Cape Central hauled in five race wins, including a relay win in the 400 freestyle.

Individual Tiger winners included Allison McDonald (200 IM), Molly Phegley (50 free) and Josie Powell (500 free).

St. Francis Borgia's only win came in the 100 freestyle.
