Ethan Barr had a big performance as the Advance boys basketball team notched a 62-49 victory over Notre Dame on Thursday night.
Class 2 Advance broke open a tight game in the fourth quarter and pulled away against the Class 4 visitors.
Barr, a senior forward, scored 29 points and grabbed five rebounds as the Hornets improved to 12-5.
Junior guard Lane Below added 14 points and eight assists for Advance.
Grant Ressel paced Notre Dame (7-9) with 11 points.
Advance led 32-28 at halftime and 39-36 after three quarters. The Hornets pulled away with a 23-13 fourth-quarter advantage.
