The Meadow Heights (7-6) boys used a 17-point fourth quarter to take down Oran (7-5) at home on Friday night, winning 60-56 over the Eagles.
Meadow Heights senior Koby Cook led the way for the Panthers, scoring a game-high 29 points en route to the victory, paired with another 15 from classmate Will Green.
Oran junior Nolan Loper scored 16 points to lead the Eagles in the loss, followed by Elijah Shoemaker’s 11 points.
Meadow Heights next plays at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday at Valley (6-4), while Oran plays at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday at Kelly (5-7).
__BBB: St. Vincent 71, Crystal City 51__
St. Vincent (9-5) used its high-powered offense to take down Crystal City (6-6) on the road on Friday night, winning 71-51 to advance to 2-0 in conference play.
St. Vincent next plays at Cape Central in the Missouri Sports Hall of Fame Basketball Classic at 1:30 p.m. on Saturday against Kelly (5-7).
