Oak Ridge (7-9) celebrated a record-breaking win on Monday night, taking down Charleston (1-10) by a 62-34 margin to open the Scott-Mississippi Conference Tournament. The win breaks the Bluejay program record for wins in a season, previously set at six in 2021.
Sophomore Reagan Howe led the Bluejays with 12 points, 11 rebounds and five steals in the win. Madyson Ruehling (10), Madalyn Schemel (10), Makayla Rangel (7), Abby Morrison (7), Mia Friese (6), Hailey Ward (4), Addi Urhahn (4) and Katie Seabaugh (2) also reached the scorebook in the lopsided win.
The Bluejays move into a matchup against Scott County Central at 7 p.m. on Wednesday in the second round of the tournament.

Notre Dame (13-3) held Kennett (13-6) to a season-low 14 points as the hosting Indians lost 41-14 to the Bulldogs on Monday night.
Freshman Nevaeh Lucious led the Bulldogs with 12 points, four rebounds, three steals and three blocked shots. Brie Rubel (8), Kate Rubel (8), Tori Rubel (7), Skylar Craft (4) and Annalise Garner (2) all made additional scoring contributions in the dominant Notre Dame win.
Notre Dame next hosts New Madrid County Central at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday.
