Oak Ridge (16-3) held strong in the second half to take a 54-39 win at Oran (10-8) on Tuesday night.
Junior Konnor Hobeck led the Bluejays with 13 points scored in the win, while senior Tyler Bishop followed close behind with 11. Camren Volz (9), Ty Wilson (9), Carson Hahs (8), Tanner Slinkard (2) and Ahren Fodge (2) all made further scoring contributions for Oak Ridge.
Oran’s Kolten Payne and Nolan Loper both scored 12 points to finish in a tie for the team lead, while the Eagles received further scoring from Robby Menz (5), Connor Watkins (4), Elijah Shoemaker (4) and Gabe Dirnberger (2).
Oak Ridge next plays at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday at Marquand (1-7), while Oran next plays at 7:30 p.m. on Friday at Leopold (6-9).

Meadow Heights (12-5) used a dominant defensive performance to rout Puxico (5-13) at home on Tuesday night.
Senior Ashley Allen led the Panthers with 23 points, 14 steals and eight assists. Rachael Hellebusch (14), Madisen Denman (13), Jaycee Shelton (5), Emma Statler (3) and Kinley Burr (1) all contributed to the scoring effort for Meadow Heights.
Meadow Heights next plays at 6 p.m. on Monday at DeSoto (5-13).

Ste. Genevieve (13-4) held off host St. Vincent (10-9) to take a 58-54 road win on Tuesday night.
The Indians next play at 5:45 p.m. on Saturday against rival Perryville (5-14).
