Saxony Lutheran (8-6) survived a 15-point Fredericktown (6-9) third quarter and rallied to a 43-37 win at home on Monday night.
Junior Evie Caruso led Saxony Lutheran as she scored 18 points, followed by Becca Johnson’s 16 points on three 3-pointers.
Fredericktown senior Lydia Mell’s 11 points led the Blackcats, scoring on five field goals.
Saxony Lutheran next plays at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday at Cape Central (8-8), while Fredericktown plays at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday at North County (8-6).
__GBB: Perryville 58, Woodland 26__
Perryville took on Woodland (5-12) on the road and emerged victorious, winning in dominant 58-26 fashion.
Senior Kyla Schnurbusch’s 21 points led Perryville in the win, followed by junior Brooklyn Moll’s 16.
Perryville next hosts Festus (8-7) at 7 p.m. on Thursday, while Woodland plays at 6 p.m. on Thursday at Dexter (10-6).
