Cape Central (8-8) used a 22-point fourth quarter to outscore Oran (9-5) by eight and rally to a 61-57 win in the Jackson Lady Indian Showcase at Jackson High School on Saturday.

Senior Taylor Horton led Cape Central with 26 points in the win, followed by classmate Ki Bogan with 22 points scored for a combined 48 points, powering the Tigers to a big win.

Oran’s star senior Haley Webb once again proved the center of the Eagle offense, scoring a game-high 28 points including three 3-pointers.

Cape Central next hosts Saxony Lutheran (7-6) at 6 p.m. on Thursday, while Oran next plays at home against Meadow Heights (11-3) starting at 6 p.m. on Wednesday.

__GBB: Saxony Lutheran 52, Neelyville 46__

Saxony Lutheran’s (7-6) 33-point first-half outburst led the Crusaders to a 52-46 win over Neelyville (12-3) on Saturday in the Jackson Lady Indian Showcase at Jackson High School.

Junior Becca Johnson led the Crusaders in points scored, finishing with 21 points while classmate Evie Caruso’s 12 finished second.

Saxony Lutheran next hosts Fredericktown (6-8) at 7:30 p.m. on Monday.
