Hickman rolls past Jackson girls 58-34

ST. LOUIS -- The Jackson Lady Indians (8-6) were outclassed by state-ranked Columbia Hickman at the King Classic Shootout 58-34 Monday night.

"They're the best team we've played this year," said Jackson coach Ron Cook. "They have a good chance to be in the final four."

Jenna Leet and Kacie Crites shared scoring honors for Jackson with 11 points each.

PARK HILLS, Mo. -- The Lady Bulldogs (13-2), with four players in double figures, had little trouble with Park Hills.

Ashley Millham led with 18 points, followed by Lisa Millham (14), Courtney Vickery (11) and Deana McCormick (10).

CHARLESTON, Mo. -- Charleston (12-2) hung on to squeak past Scott City (6-8), despite Lady Ram Loren Groves' career-high 36 points.

Missy Whitney led the Lady Blue Jays with 17 points.

STE. GENEVIEVE, Mo. -- Chelsey Brown scored 13 points but no other Squaw finished with more than four points as St. Vincent fell in non-conference action.

Ste. Genevieve led 20-17 at halftime and went on to outscore St. Vincent (6-9) 10-2 in the third quarter.

KELLY 51, WOODLAND 18

BENTON, Mo. -- Kelly improved to 13-2 in the romp over Woodland (4-11).

Christy Kluesner and Dana Essner led the Lady Hawks with 16 and 15 points, respectively. Kandice Abner paced Woodland with 10.
