Southeast Missouri State University's track and field program turned in four first-place performances during Saturday's University of Illinois Invitational.

Jay Heddell was a double winner as he captured the shot put and discus. Andrew Lambert won the long jump.

The 400-meter relay team of Tim Jefferson, Jon Jefferson, Miles Smith and Seth Schuster placed second.

Third-place men's finishers included Tim Jefferson in the 100, Miles Smith in the 400 and Brandon Williams in the javelin.

On the women's side, Lindsay Zeiler won the 1,500.

Placing second were Lindsey Meyr in the javelin, Michele Jett in the pole vault, and Megan Youse in the shot put and discus.

Finishing third were Lyndsey Stevenson in the 100 hurdles and Kim Krieger in the 3,000 steeplechase.

Southeast will next compete in the Ohio Valley Conference outdoor meet this weekend in Birmingham, Ala.
