HAYTI, Mo. -- Hayti, the state's fourth-ranked Class 1A football team, remained undefeated as the Indians crushed Scott City 41-0 Friday night.

The Indians, who improved to 7-0, piled up 341 yards of offense while limiting the Rams (2-5) to just 107 yards, many of those coming late in the contest.

Demarcus Stewart scored two touchdowns for Hayti, on runs of 31 and 15 yards. Quarterback Matt Morgan threw a pair of TD passes, 25-yarders to Danny Mack and William Moore.

Hayti built a 28-0 halftime lead and then coasted in the second half.

CHARLESTON 47, E. PRAIRIE 0

EAST PRAIRIE, Mo. -- Jordy Mixon played only 1 1/2 quarters, but rushed for 138 yards on 10 carries as the Bluejays played well in all phases.

Orrice Stanback returned the opening kickoff 88 yards for a touchdown and Dontay Clark later returned a punt 60 yards for a touchdown as Charleston improved to 5-2.

The Bluejay defense held the Eagles to 114 yards of total offense.

"The kids really played well," Charleston coach Brent Anderson said. "It was the best ballgame we've played all year."

PARK HILLS 28, FRED'TOWN 13

PARK HILLS, Mo. -- Fredericktown held its own against the 10th ranked team in Class 3A, but the Rebels improved to 7-0.

Fredericktown outgained Park Hills 240-223.

Among the Rebels' touchdowns was a punt block, recovery and return.

The Blackcats fell to 2-5.

Kyle Stephens rushed for 76 yards on 19 carries, giving the sophomore 840 yards for the season.

PERRYVILLE 42, WINDSOR 19

IMPERIAL, Mo. -- Perryville sophomore Jesse Whistler ran the ball 27 times for a season-high 153 yards and three touchdowns as the Pirates won their second game of the year.

Perryville receiver Brian Hadler caught three passes for 76 yards and scored two touchdowns -- one on a 99-yard kickoff return.

Andrew Meyr completed seven of 12 passes for 124 yards and two touchdowns.

Perryville led 29-12 at halftime.

"I was very happy," Perryville coach Lance Bell said. "They played hard and they played well. It's nice going into district with a win."
