"We played okay," Chaffee coach Allan Horrell said. "But we were outmatched. They were quick, and when they break loose, you're not going to catch them."

Hayti advances to a Class 1 sectional playoff game Wednesday.

Sikeston 33, Perryville 6

Sikeston (7-2) built a 26-0 halftime lead and cruised past host Perryville (2-8) in the season finale for both squads.

The Pirates, trailing 33-0, broke the shutout with six seconds left as Joel Kurre scored on a 4-yard run.

Kurre rushed for 95 yards on 18 carries and Avery Behrle added 86 yards on 11 attempts.
