PHILADELPHIA — It certainly didn't take long for former Southeast Missouri State University football player Johnny King to find a new home.
King, who was waived by the Indianapolis Colts on Wednesday, Aug. 2, signed with the Philadelphia Eagles this past Tuesday morning.
King could provide a huge target for Eagles quarterbacks, standing 6-foot-5 and weighing 209 pounds.
Before coming to SEMO, King played for a season at Northeastern Oklahoma A&M.
During his senior campaign with the Redhawks, King had 69 catches for 797 yards and six TD. He finished his three-year SEMO career with 124 receptions for 1,638 yards and 13 TD.
