Carr Vernon bounced back after a rocky finish to his second round to fire a 69 at the PGA Tour Canada Qualifying Tournament at Crown Isle Resort and Golf Club in Courtenbary, British Columbia, on Thursday.

Vernon bogeyed three of his final four holes on Wednesday but rebounded Thursday afternoon with a 69 to put him in a tie for third heading into today’s final round at -9 for the tournament.

Vernon birdied three holes on the front and was -6 on the day before he went +3 in his final three holes.

Canada’s Jimmy Jones (-13) and Max Sear (-11) are ahead of Vernon in the the tournament as he is in a tie with Scotland’s Callum McNeill.

The final group tees off at 3:09 p.m. today which features Vernon, along with Jones and Sear.
