LAKES

Bull Shoals (East): 86 degrees, low, dingy; bluegill, largemouth bass and walleye fair.

Clearwater Lake: normal, clear; catfish and largemouth bass fair.

Council Bluff: 83 degrees, normal, clear; crappie good on small and medium size minnows early p.m. and at dawn; largemouth bass fair on dark-colored spinnerbaits, plastic tube baits and plastic worms; catfish fair on worms and chicken liver early a.m. and late p.m.; redear sunfish fair using small worms on the bottom in a.m. and in p.m.; all other species slow.

Duck Creek: 76 degrees, normal, clear; black bass very good on plugs and minnows; pressure light.

Lake Girardeau: 86 degrees, high, clear; bluegill fair on crickets; all other species slow.

Wappapello: normal, channel catfish good using live baits and goldfish on trotlines and juglines; crappie good on minnows; black bass fair on crankbaits and spinnerbaits; bluegill fair on crickets and worms. RIVERS

Black River (near Annapolis): low, clear; smallmouth bass fair.

Castor River (above Zalma): 78 degrees, low, clear; all species fair.

Current: 75 degrees, low, clear; rock bass good on live baits; smallmouth bass fair on soft plastics.

Jack's Fork: 78 degrees, low, clear; smallmouth bass and rock bass fair on soft plastics and small jigs; all other species slow.

Meramec (above Sullivan, Crawford Co.): 77 degrees, low, clear; fishing pressure is moderate; smallmouth bass fair on worms, nightcrawlers, topwater lures, and tube baits; drum good on worms and nightcrawlers; all other species slow.

Mississippi (above St. Louis): 79 degrees, normal, clear; channel catfish and blue catfish good on prepared baits; flathead catfish good on natural baits; white bass, walleye, and sauger fair on artificial baits; carp good on prepared baits and corn; drum good on natural baits; all other species fair.

Mississippi (below Charleston): 78 degrees, normal, muddy; catfish good using cut shad on pole and line deep; all other species fair.
