Farmington squeaked past Jackson's JV 42-40, while No. 6 Massac County jumped on No. 7 Perryville for a 68-44 victory.

Jackson's JV, which entered the field after No. 8 seed Heritage Christian dropped out, nearly upset No. 5 Farmington.

Jackson led 9-6 after one quarter, trailed 21-16 at halftime and 30-24 entering the final quarter. The Lady Indians still trailed by six points with 30 seconds left in the game but, after a basket and a steal on the inbound pass, cut the deficit to 41-40 with 19 seconds left on a 3-pointer. After Farmington added a free throw, Jackson had a chance to tie the game, but saw a shot from 15 feet bounce off the rim at the buzzer.

Kelly Gerlach, Linden Hahs and Amy West all finished with eight points for Jackson.
