Dismal coverage

The coverage of local sports has been really dismal lately. One would think the Cape Girardeau American Legion only had one or two players. The same player was pictured on the front page of the sports section twice in the same week. There are more players on the team. But I guess that is rather difficult for you sports writers to know, since you obviously don't know who is on what team. In the June 30 edition, a player that is not even on the team was given a loss in a game at which he wasn't even present.

(Touche. A correction was published for the mistake of June 30. However, summer baseball coverage actually has expanded this year to include more coverage of Senior Babe Ruth baseball.)
