SEMO love

I WAS just wondering why the SEMO Conference baseball selections were hidden in another article. These players are some of the best players in the area in a very tough conference. Who would have looked under the headline "Verticchio will guide Delta girls" for the conference selections? I just thought the selections should have had their own section.

Where's my team?

WILL THERE be an All-Southeast Missourian team for spring softball since these teams keep getting turned down for state titles?

(We will not be selecting a spring softball team.)

THE OAK RIDGE baseball team had one of the best seasons it has had in a very long time. Students took the initiative to work hard and it paid off. Kudos to the coach, too. The community appreciates everything you do for our students.

Go Redhawks

THOSE ARE some amazing recruits that Southeast Missouri State men's basketball coach Scott Edgar signed. I mean a junior college point guard that averaged a whopping four assists a game, and a juco power forward/center that averaged four rebounds a game. Come on. Is Southeast ever going to return to the days when we actually put a team on the floor that could compete?
