Wants women's news

I WOULD like to see the Southeast Missourian publish a little information on B.J. Smith's women's basketball team at Southeast Missouri State. We're avid Redhawks basketball fans, and I'm just curious. I know it's a little early in the season, but I'd like to get some information, see who he has coming back, who the new players are coming and, basically, what's his system looks like for this coming year.

I HOPE all parents who have children in sports read the article in Parade magazine on Aug. 7. I recently attended my granddaughter's soccer tournament, and I could not believe how rude the parents were, yelling rude remarks at other parents and at the coaches. Is this the kind of example you want to set for your children? Instead of yelling at the coaches, thank them for taking time from their families to coach.
