EAST PRAIRIE, Mo. — Owen Knight dominated on the mound, striking out 15 batters and earning a complete-game win in East Prairie’s 8-0 win over Campbell on Tuesday, April 18.
“Overall, we played well as a team,” said East Prairie coach Gary Scott. “Owen Knight controlled the game and was lights out today.”

The Eagles' (9-8) top producers at the plate were Noah Johnson (2-for-4 with two RBIs and one scored a run), Leven Turner (2-for-3 with one scored run) and Peyton Hodges (1-for-4 with a triple, two RBIs and one scored run).
Winfield White and Rayne Jernigan each also had one hit and scored one run. White also had a RBI.
“We made plays on the balls that were put in play and took advantage of some of their miscues by getting some key hits with runners on base,” Scott concluded.
East Prairie travels to Twin Rivers (8-8) on Friday, April 21, and to Charleston (5-7) for the annual Red-Blue and Mississippi County rivalry game.
The Camels (3-7) will travel to Westwood Baptist on Monday, April 24.
