The physicians have dominated the court in the 10 previous meetings in the Doctors vs. Lawyers Basketball Showdown with eight victories.

But the doctors may be without their top scorer from last year, Todd Lumsden, at today's 8 p.m. clash. Lumsden may miss all or part of the game due to other obligations.

Lumsden scored 23 points in the doctors' 62-49 victory last year.

Tonight's game will be played at Notre Dame Regional High School. A pregame tailgate party is set for 5:30 p.m. at Dalhousie Downtown. Proceeds from the event will benefit Community Counseling Center Foundation.

Lumsden, listed on the program as "The Unstoppable," said the doctors' dominance of the series has not been as lopsided as it seems.

"It seems like we've had a few more timely baskets," Lumsden said. "Usually, the games are pretty close."
