The Dexter Bearcat tennis team picked up a big win over a district opponent Tuesday. The Bearcats defeated Potosi 8-1
at Potosi.
All three of Dexter's doubles teams were victorious as Peyton Boles/Cooper Worley defeated Isaiah Marty/Draven Griffen 8-5, Lawson Blocker/Drew Chamberlain defeated Hayden Eckhoff/Wyatt Mercer 8-5 and Logan Jones/Rhyder Williams defeated Wyatt Richards/ Logan Compton 8-2.
In singles action Dexter won five of six matches as Boles defeated Marty 8-5, Blocker defeated Eckhoff 8-1, Worley defeated Mercer 8-3, Chamberlain lost to Griffen 6-8, Jones defeated Richards 5-2(WD) and Williams defeated Compton 8-1.
The Bearcats improved to 2-0 on the season and will next be in action Wednesday (March 29) at home against Cape Central.
