Dexter Peyton Boles advances to sectional round, Worley and Chamberlain also medal at district tournament

Peyton Boles qualified for tennis sectionals after a second place finish at the Class 1 District 1 Tournament at Petosi. Dexter had two medalist at the district tournament.

In singles, Peyton Boles qualifies for his 2nd consecutive trip to the Sectional round with a shot at going to the state tournament.

In doubles, Cooper Worley and Drew Chamberlain came up just a bit short, after a marathon semifinal match, of qualifying for sectionals.

The duo ended up taking home the Bronze Medal and finishing their match well after 9:30 pm last night.

“All of our boys put in valiant efforts yesterday in the individual tournament,” said Dexter coach Eric Boles. “I could not be more proud to be their coach.”
