Twin Rivers 11, ADVANCE 0
The Twin Rivers Royals cruised by the Advance Hornets on Monday as they started the week with an 11-0 victory.
Twin Rivers finished with 11 hits as they oped the game with seven runs in the top of the first.
D Soloman (2-4, 3 RBIs, run) and Luke Hester (2-3, 2 RBIs, run) had multuple hits for theRoyals while all nine starts scored in the game and Jake Hester and Bryce Dollins each scored twice.
Dollins also got the win on the mound as he threw four innings and struck out four.
The Royals host Woodland at 4:30 p.m. Tuesday.
GIRLS GOLF
Ste. Genevieve Quad Match
The Poplar Bluff Lady Mules finished second at Ste. Genevieve’s Quad Match on Monday.
The host took first with a 192 while PB shot a 198.
Olivia Thetford got 1st with a 34 (-3) and Rhyan 2nd with a 41(+4).
SOFTBALL
POPLAr bLUFF 4, WEST PLAINS 2
The Poplar Bluff Lady Mules held off a late rally by West Plains on Tuesday as they grabbed a 4-2 road victory.
Poplar Bluff led 4-0 heading to the bottom of the seventh before the Zizzers added two runs to make the game a little more interested before the Lady Mules would close it out.
Kennedy Zgaynor led the Lady Mules with two hits while Molly Eason and Tylar Brookreson had RBIs for PB.
Eason also got the win in the circle as she struck out five.
NEELYVILLE 16, CAPE CENTRAL 0
The Neelyville Lady Tigers took down Cape Central 16-0.
Delayni Dobbins (4-4, 2 3B, 3 RBIs, 3 runs) and Reese Dobbins (3-4, 3 2B, 4 RBIs, 2 runs) along with Parker Ernst’s home run led the Lady Tigers at the plate in the dominant win.
September Preslar had four strikeouts in the win.
