Cycling: Cotton Ramble set for Sept. 9

SIKESTON — The annual Cotton Ramble is set for Saturday, Sept. 9 throughout Sikeston and Stoddard County.

This is a bike ride featuring three courses of varying lengths: 14, 28 and 65 miles.

Registration is set for 8 a.m., with the bike ride starting at 9.

The event is a fundraiser for the Lions Club of Sikeston, which provides support

in Stoddard County including scholarships, medical equipment, land development and expansion and eyeglasses.

The fee is $15 for adults until the pre-registration deadline of Wednesday, Sept. 6; $10 for youth ages 13-17. Children 12 years of age and younger ride free.

T-shirts are also available for $18 or $20.
