Southeast Missouri State garnered two of the Ohio Valley Conference's four selections to the Sports Network/Fathead.com Football Championship Subdivision preseason All-America team announced Friday.
Junior offensive tackle Evan Conrad and junior free safety Tylor Brock were named to the All-America second team by the most recognized FCS outlet.
Conrad was a first-team all-OVC selection last season, the lone non-senior on an offensive line that helped Southeast rank among the nation's leaders in rushing yards and sacks allowed. Conrad was responsible for only two sacks from his left tackle spot.
Brock, also a first-team all-OVC pick in 2010 while earning Phil Steele second-team All-American honors, led the conference in interceptions by tying a school record with six last year. He returned two of the picks for touchdowns.
Murray State senior return specialist Dontrell Johnson was the OVC's first-team All-America selection. He led the FCS in punt return average (22.8), returning two for touchdowns a year ago.
The other OVC player on the Sports Network/Fathead.com preseason All-America squad is second-teamer Jeremy Caldwell, a senior return specialist from Eastern Kentucky.
