Lids Missouri Bulls announce tryouts for 2017 teams

Tryouts for the Lids Missouri Bulls' 2017 teams are scheduled to take place Saturday and Sunday.

The 10U through 13U teams will hold tryouts Saturday at Notre Dame Regional High School, while tryouts for the 14U through 18U teams will be held Sunday at Oran High School in Oran, Missouri.

On Saturday, check-in and late registrations for 10U/11U teams are scheduled to begin at 9 a.m, while tryouts will go from 9:30-11:30 a.m. Check-in and late registrations for 12U/13U teams will start at 12:30 p.m., with tryouts taking place from 1-3 p.m.

The 14U/15U teams will hold check-in and allow late registration at 11:30 a.m. Sunday, while tryouts start at noon and end at 2 p.m. Check-in and late registration for the 16U-18U teams begin at 2 p.m., with tryouts being held from 2:30-4:30 p.m.

If inclement weather interferes, tryouts will be moved to another weekend as quickly as possible.

Jake Carter hits hole in one at Cape Jaycee Municipal Golf Course

Jake Carter hit a hole in one from 159 yards out on the No. 18 tee box Sunday at Cape Jaycee Municipal Golf Course.

Carter used a 7 iron to ace the par-3 hole. Witnesses were Matt Christian and Kyle McMinn.
