The Lindenwood (2-18) women won their first conference game in their short history in the Ohio Valley Conference on Saturday, defeating Tennessee-Martin (9-13) 84-75.

“This win feels amazing," Lindenwood coach Katie Falco said. "We have continued to believe that our time would come! We have responded so gracefully to the endless adversity we have faced.”

Saxony Lutheran graduate Masyn McWilliams propelled the Lions to the win with a team-high 25 points, totaling five rebounds, three assists and a steal.

Notre Dame graduate Lexi Rubel scored 11 points for the Skyhawks, third amongst her team, in a losing effort. Rubel also totaled five rebounds, two assists and three steals. Teammate Shae Littleford led the team with a game-high 29 points.

Lindenwood next takes on SIUE at home at 11 a.m. on Thursday, while Tennessee-Martin moves on to play at 6 p.m. on Monday at Evansville.

__MBB: Tennessee Tech 82, Southeast Missouri State 80__

Tennessee Tech (11-14) did just enough at home to get an 82-80 victory over Southeast Missouri State (13-12) on Saturday, outscoring the Redhawks at 47-36 in the first half.

Redhawks sophomore guard Phillip Russell led all scorers with 29 points and eight assists in the loss, while Chris Harris and Israel Barnes both broke into the double-digit scoring with 21 and 13 points respectively.

The Redhawks next play at 8 p.m. on Thursday at Tennessee State (14-11).

__WBB: Tennessee Tech 71, Southeast Missouri State 65__

Tennessee Tech (14-8) pulled away late against Southeast Missouri State (9-14), outscoring the Redhawks by five in the fourth quarter to take a 71-65 win at home on Saturday afternoon.

Rahmena Henderson led the Redhawks with 17 points in the loss, grabbing five rebounds and two assists in the process. Kiyley Flowers’ nine points and five assists further helped to guide Southeast Missouri State.

Tennessee Tech’s Maaliya Owens led all scorers in the game, finishing with 18 including four 3-pointers.

The Redhawks next play at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday at Tennessee State (8-14).
