ADVANCE -- Chaffee Junior Legion swept a pair of district games from Sikeston Friday.
Chaffee won the opener 4-0 and the nightcap 10-9.
Justin Simpher blanked Sikeston on two hits in the first game. He struck out eight and didn't walk a batter.
Adam Rainey, Simpher and Travis Hanbeck all had two hits for Chaffee.
John O'Rourke notched the win in the second game. He allowed five hits in five innings, striking out eight and walking two. Todd Friend had a three-run homer among his three hits. O'Rourke also had three hits.
