Central sophomore Sam Gramling reached the finals of the 500-yard relay at the Missouri Swimming Championships on Friday with a seventh-place finish in the preliminaries at the St. Peters Rec Plex in St. Peters, Mo. Gramling posted a time of 4 minutes, 50.03 seconds to make the final field of eight. Zach Bolin of Blue Springs will take the top time into today's final, covering the distance in 4:37.95...

Gramling posted a time of 4 minutes, 50.03 seconds to make the final field of eight. Zach Bolin of Blue Springs will take the top time into today's final, covering the distance in 4:37.95.

Peyton Waggener of Central finished 15th in the 100 breaststroke (1:03.42) to qualify for today's consolation round.
