Only one wrestling match went the distance Thursday at Cape Central in the Tigers' 54-27 dual victory over Marion, Ill.
Of 11 matches, 10 ended with pins. Central won seven of those, and added two forfeit victories to easily defeat Marion.
Winners for Central were: Paul Miller, Darren Harris, Jon Lowrance, Ben Allen, Jamell Austin, Otis Turner and Matt Strickland. Alex Elfrink and Craig Knoth earned forfeit wins.
Central's next match is Feb. 3 against New Madrid, the Tigers' final home appearance of the season.

DEXTER -- Scott City built an early lead against Dexter and was able to coast to victory Thursday night.
Scott City led 30-12 by halftime and pushed the lead to over 20 points in the third quarter.
Becca Gowin led Scott City (10-5) with 17 points. Gowin scored all her points in the second half after picking up three fouls in the first four minutes of the first quarter.
Mikaela Scott scored a game-high 20 points for Dexter and Heather Galloway added 18, but no other Lady Bearcat scored more than two points.
Scott Central 78, Woodland 28
WOODLAND -- Scott County Central saw five players score in double figures in a rout of Woodland Thursday night.
Tashika Raby led the attack with 16 points, followed by Brandy Miller 15, LaKeya Turner 14, and Dankia Kidd and Katie Griffen, 10 points apiece.
Julia Cutsinger and Lindsey Allmon both scored nine points for Woodland (4-8).
Scott Central (7-8) took an 18-7 lead in the first quarter and led 33-15 at the intermission.
