Cape Girardeau's American Legion team took advantage of two errors on one play in the top of the 10th inning to edge host Sikeston 7-5 on Tuesday in a District 14 game. Eric Ennis started the 10th with a single, and eventually made his way to third with two outs. Ty Craft was walked, and Ennis came around to score when Craft stole second and the throw went into the outfield. Craft was able to score when a throw to third also got away...

Eric Ennis started the 10th with a single, and eventually made his way to third with two outs. Ty Craft was walked, and Ennis came around to score when Craft stole second and the throw went into the outfield. Craft was able to score when a throw to third also got away.

Ford & Sons (10-7) improved to 2-0 in district play.

Cape trailed 4-1 after five innings, but came all the way back to take a 5-4 lead with two runs in the top of the ninth. Sikeston tied the score with a run in the ninth, but Adam McMahan held Sikeston down in the 10th for the win.
