ST. LOUIS -- The McDowell Capahas salvaged a doubleheader split with the St. Louis Printers Sunday, winning the nightcap 7-4 after dropping the opener 6-5.
Lanson Debrock pitched the first five innings of the second game to notch the victory. Chad Bogenpohl and Brent Self each hurled two innings of scoreless relief.
In opener, Cody Fisher allowed just one earned run in five innings as the Capahas built a 5-2 lead on Darin Kinsolving's three-run double.
But the Printers rallied for four runs in the eighth off losing hurler Matt Palmer.
The Capahas, who are now 14-4, will host Saline County, Ill., Thursday night.
