STE. GENEVIEVE -- Cory Crosnoe belted two home runs and had six RBIs as the McDowell Capahas routed Ste. Genevieve 19-3 in seven innings Wednesday night.
Crosnoe also had a double to go 3-for-4 in McDowell's 18-hit attack. Daren Kinsolving added a grand slam in going 3-for-4 as the Capahas improved to 4-1 on the season.
Jeff Bourbon went 4-for-5 and Ben Arbeiter and Jim Wolsey both added three hits.
Richie Phillips pitched the first three innings and recorded the win. He gave up all three runs with one earned. Danny Simpher followed with three scoreless innings and Jerry Wolsey pitched a scoreless seventh.
McDowell makes its home debut Friday when Waterloo, Ill., visits Capaha Field for an 8 p.m. contest.
