After three second-place finishes this year, Campbell finally came through for his first win on the tour in his rookie campaign. The win moved Campbell to the top of the Hooters Tour money-list with over $48,000 this year.

Meichtry started the day five strokes behind Campbell, but carded four birdies on the front nine to pull within two strokes of the lead. Meichtry caught Campbell after birdies on holes 11 and 12 to pull even at 17-under-par.

But Campbell responded with birdies on the next two par fours to take back the lead. Meichtry birdied the final hole to post the final margin.
