Southeast winter camps: Southeast Missouri State University baseball coach Mark Hogan and his staff will hold three sessions of winter camps at Houck Field House: Dec. 7-8, Dec. 14-15 and Jan. 25-26. Optimist girls basketball: The Jackson Noon Optimist will hold its girls basketball league signups from 9 a.m. to noon on Nov. 23 at Main Street Fitness (Community Room). Central quarterfinal game: Tickets for Monday night's Class 4 quarterfinal game between Central and Eureka can be purchased in advance at Howard's Sporting Goods or at the Central High School's athletic director's office. Tickets are $5.
Golf
Southeast development clinic: Each Monday and Thursday in November (except for Wednesday, Nov. 27, instead of Thursday, Nov. 28) from 7-8:30 p.m. at Southeast Missouri State University's Parker Physical Education Building. Pasta dinner: The Central High winter sports pasta dinner will be at 6 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 21 in the commons area at Central. All students involved with wrestling, boys' swimming, boys' and girls' basketball, pom-pon and cheerleading will be introduced by their coaches. Parents with last names starting with letters A to L are asked to bring salad; parents with letters K through Z should bring desserts. Toy Box Mile Run/Walk: Downtown Cape Girardeau event Dec. 1 along Broadway from Capaha Park to Main Street starts 4:45 p.m. after sign-ups at 4. Proceeds benefit Toy Box program.
