The Notre Dame volleyball team split with Ste. Genevieve the first time the two squads played Saturday.
The Bulldogs couldn't repeat the feat the second time the teams played, as the Dragons beat Notre Dame 25-18, 27-26 in the championship match of the Notre Dame VolleyballFest.
Meghan Dohogne led the way for Notre Dame with nine kills. Shannon Brennan added six kills, nine assists and 10 digs. Kelsey Bradshaw had 10 digs for the Bulldogs.
In action earlier in the day, Notre Dame split with Ste. Genevieve, winning the first game 27-25 then lost the second 25-22.
The Bulldogs beat Bishop Dubourg 25-20, 25-18 and Bell City 25-21, 25-18.

The host Bulldogs needed double-overtime to capture the title at their own tournament.
But senior John Unterreiner found the back of the net after Joda Holloway headed a corner kick then Nick Wren touched it. Unterreiner cleaned up the mess to give the Bulldogs (4-0) the win.
Josh Robert scored Notre Dame's first goal.
Saxony Lutheran captured third place by defeating Marion, Ill., 3-1.
Garrett Fritsche, Trevor Mabuce and Matt Wills scored for the Crusaders (3-1).
Bryant Steffens stopped two shots to earn the win.
In the fifth-place game, Central beat Jackson 2-1.
SOFTBALL Notre Dame SoftballFest
Oran fell to Sikeston 7-6 and beat Saxony Lutheran 9-5.
Claire Seyer had two hits in both games for the Eagles (4-2). Amanda Williams went 3-for-5 with four RBIs, while Taylor Irwin scored five runs against Saxony.
Central 3, Ursuline Academy 2
Chelsea Sterling knocked in a run and Taylre Scott went 2-for-2 as the Tigers improved to 5-4 this season.
Amanda Nichols struck out five to earn the win.
