INDIANAPOLIS -- Former Cape Girardeau Central High School swimmer Erin Vogt wrapped up her first experience at the United States Olympic Swimming Trials Saturday by failing to advance out of the preliminaries in the 200-meter butterfly.

Earlier in the week, Vogt was eliminated in the preliminaries of the 400-meter individual medley and 200-meter individual medley.

Vogt, already a four-time collegiate All-American, will be entering her junior season at the University of Arizona.
