Cory Johnson of Southeast Missouri was selected newcomer of the week. The junior guard scored a team-high 15 points on 5-of-9 shooting from 3-point range in a 62-59 loss at Colorado last week.
He also scored 23 points on 7-of-13 shooting from beyond the arc in a 94-78 win over Central Methodist.
Tennessee State's Jamie Roberts got rookie of the week honors. The freshman guard scored a team-high 20 points and dished out five assists in the Tigers' 121-54 victory over Asbury College.
