All four teams in the tournament competed in last year's NCAA tourney.

"We're expecting a very tough tournament," said Southeast coach Cindy Gannon. "It will be a good opportunity for us to get a lot of people some playing time and figure out what we need to do to gel as a team before we get into conference play."

Following this weekend's tournament, the Otahkians will continue to play on the road, facing Southern Illinois Sept. 9 and competing in the St. Louis U. Tournament Sept. 12-13. The first home match is set for Sept. 18 against Middle Tennessee.
