BRIEFLY: SCOTT COUNTY CENTRAL GIRLS IN REGIONAL TONIGHT

SIKESTON -- Scott County Central's girls and Richland's boys will attempt to move on in the state high school basketball playoffs as they compete in Class 1A regional games tonight at the Sikeston High School Field House.

Scott Central (13-11) will face Naylor at 6:30 while Richland (23-4) will take on Clarkton at 8:15. The winners advance to sectional games in Poplar Bluff Wednesday night.

The Bravettes and Naylor will be meeting in a rematch of last year's regional game, won by Scott Central 71-55. The Bravettes were then eliminated by Bunker in the sectional round.

Richland won last year's regional game and went on to capture the Class 1A state championship.
