Former Southeast Missouri State University baseball star Kerry Robinson, who was acquired by Cincinnati from Seattle Thursday in a trade for pitcher Todd Williams, has been assigned to the Reds' Triple A affiliate, the Indianapolis Indians.
Robinson, an outfielder, was scheduled to be in uniform over the weekend during the Indians' series at Norfolk, Va.
Robinson, who last played for Southeast in 1995, had been hitting .322 and leading the Pacific Coast League with 30 stolen bases while playing for the Tacoma (Wash.) Rainers, Seattle's Triple A affiliate.
