BRIEFLY: PINGEL HAS BIGGEST DAY OF SEASON

FULTON -- Scott Pingel, a St. Vincent graduate, had his biggest day of the season last Saturday, catching 15 passes for 208 yards and one touchdown.

Pingel's NCAA Division III Westminster Blue Jays lost the game, however, 51-35 to Kentucky Wesleyan, a Division II, non-scholarship school.

Pingel smashed Jerry Rice's all-time college receiving record for most catches in a career (301) in the season opener. He has since claimed the all-division records in career yards and touchdowns by a receiver. Pingel now has 353 receptions for 5,143 yards.
