The annual Ohio Valley Conference Summer Meetings, held this year for the first time in Cape Girardeau, concluded Thursday.
Presidents, athletic directors, faculty representatives and senior women administrators from the 10 OVC schools were in town Tuesday through Thursday to conduct their annual meetings.
The OVC rotates the site of its summer meetings every year between the conference schools and this was the first year for the meetings to be held in Cape Girardeau since Southeast Missouri State University joined the league seven years ago.
OVC officials said that no major issues were on the docket for this year's meetings.
As part of the summer meetings, the league's annual honors luncheon was held Thursday afternoon in Cape Girardeau.
During the luncheon, Southeast received its women's all-sports trophy symbolizing overall athletic excellence in conference-sponsored championships.
Southeast this year became the first school in OVC history to win four straight women's all-sports trophies. The Otahkians were conference champions in volleyball, indoor track and field, softball and outdoor track and field.
