The Southeast Missouri women's softball team has signed three players during the early signing period.
Joining the Otahkian squad were infielder Dawn Plantino of Glenbard North High School (Ill.), pitcher/third baseman Angela Godfrey of Bakersfield, Calif., and center fielder Kelsey White of Rend Lake College.
Plantino batted .412 with 27 RBIs and 39 stolen bases her senior year at Glenbard Heights.
Godfrey posted a 0.95 E.R.A. and had 407 strikeouts through her first three years of high school. She also batted .371 with 30 doubles and four home runs during that span.
White, a sophomore at Rend Lake, batted .323 with 17 RBIs this past season. She is originally from Brazil, Indiana.
