Notre Dame High will be buzzing with activity Thursday through Saturday as the school hosts its annual soccer and softball tournaments. The eight-team Notre Dame Soccerfest will get under way with four first-round games Thursday, on two fields. Notre Dame High will be buzzing with activity Thursday through Saturday as the school hosts its annual soccer and softball tournaments.

The eight-team Notre Dame Soccerfest will get under way with four first-round games Thursday, on two fields. The schedule: Cape Central vs. Sikeston, 3:30 p.m.; Hillsboro vs. Carbondale, Ill., 4 p.m.; Jackson vs. Poplar Bluff, 5:30 p.m.; and Notre Dame vs. Farmington, 7:30 p.m.

There will be four more games both Friday, starting at 4 p.m., and another four Saturday, starting at 10 a.m. and capped by the championship contest at 2 p.m.

The eight-team Notre Dame Softballfest will feature three first-round games Thursday: Notre Dame vs. Sikeston, 3:30 p.m.; Park Hills vs. Dongola, Ill., 5 p.m.; and Poplar Bluff vs. St. Pius, 6:30 p.m.

The final first-round game, between St. Vincent and Ste. Genevieve, will be at 3:30 p.m. Friday. The semifinals will follow.

There will be six games Saturday, starting at 9 a.m. and capped by the title contest at 4:30 p.m.
