McKinnis paced the 16-18 age division, as Gabe Estes of Jackson placed second with an 81 and Kent Phillips of Cape Girardeau shot 85 to take third.

All three golfers advance to the district qualifier June 10-11 at A.L. Gustin Golf Course in Columbia. The Cape Optimist Clubs will cover their entry fees into the district tournament.
