BRIEFLY: KELSO KLASSIC SOFTBALL GAMES RAINED OUT SUNDAY

KELSO -- Because of heavy rain that fell Saturday night and much of Sunday, all of Sunday's scheduled games on the final day of the 16th annual Kelso Klassic fast-pitch softball tournament were wiped out.

Four teams are still undefeated in the tourney: Bonutti Orthopaedics of Strasburg, Ill.; tourney co-host Kelso Kwik Stop; the Springfield (Mo.) Mountaineers; and the Tulsa (Okla.) Gray Sox.

Tourney director Rick Heuring said the final games will still try to be played at a later date, but nothing is definite yet.
